Dotts Egg Tart

Last week, my cousins went for vacation at KK and they bought me this...

Yep! Dotts Egg Tart! Being a 'sakai' and never heard about this egg tart before, I decided to eat it just like I eat any other egg tarts. My first bite on this thing and I was left SPEECHLESS for like... an eternity. Actually, 3 seconds only lah. But this thing here, is the bomb! Its AWESOMEEEEE!!!! Yeah it tasted like no other egg tarts I've tried before. TWO THUMBS UP!

The contents and the fillings is really thick and the crust is thin. (forgot to take photo of the inside)

This egg tart really make me craving for more. One day when I got back from work, I went straight to the fridge to get my egg tart. When I opened the box......

AAAARRRRRRGGHHHHH!!! WHERE ARE MY EGG TARTS???!!! WHY?? WHY?? WHY ONLY LEFT 2 PIECES???!!! I WANT MY EGG TARTS BACKKKKK!!!!! ......Oh well, I suppose it's not just me whose craving for more. =P

And finally, I would like to point out that the slogan on the box...

The slogan 'One is never enough...' is actually an understatement. Therefore, I give my own slogan for it....

From the same restaurant as well. This noodle is also called "Lakia Mee" in chinese. Yes, Lakia. No kidding, look at the photo below. Some chinese people are very sensitive to the word "Lakia". Hahaha. You know who you are.

Yeah i know... FINALLY! A NEW POST! Sorry people, just been simply busy and I don't wanna give any excuses. Let's just finish this BRIDEX thingie. Now you might think the last post was Day 1, and why is it Day 4 now? It was because me and my colleagues take turn to look after the booth, and I was there for Day 1 and Day 4.

Day 4 was the last day of the exhibition. The last day was really free and there wasn't really much people and visitor. It was open to public and I met quite a number of my friends there. Since I was really free, I decided to walk around and make full use of my camera. =)

The first day of the event is the launching of the event so all the company's staff must present. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Mutadee Billah and also the King of Jordan will be there for the launching so everybody who took part in the event were expected to be there with appropriate attire.

We have to wake up by 5.30 am and then be there by 7.00 am as there will be traffic jam and no parking. Below are some photos I snapped from the morning until the afternoon.

I actually volunteered to be Liaison Officers for the BRIDEX 2009. But due to some clashes with my work attachment and also some inconvenient issues, I decided to withdraw from it. But still, that doesn't stop me from taking part in BRIDEX 2009. I am having my work attachment under Infindo Technology, i-Centre. Since my company is taking part in BRIDEX 2009, so I am participating as well.

Below are the pre-exhibition photos for the BRIDEX 2009. Just some preparation, setting up the booth and get things ready for the big day.

It's been quite a while since I last posted. Have been really busy with work attachment in the day time. Night time, I just hangout with friends. After that what? Sleep lahhh, I'm not Superman OK! Now, let's just get back to the topic.

For the past few weeks, the weather has been really hot. Why is that? Well, I don't know. What causes the weather to be hot? It's definitely the sun. So will the weather still be hot once the sun already set? Sometimes yes, usually no. Okay class, so the key word here is "Sunset".

Okay, personally, I'm a sunset lover. Meaning I enjoy looking at sunset. Don't know why, but it is just simply beautiful. Below are a collection of sunset photo that I've taken thus far. It wasn't really the best but it's the best I could get. So Sunset Lovers, enjoy the setting sun.

I get my gears and weapons ready and head off to a deserted land. I'm the only survivor left on this earth and I'm the only person capable to bring this god-like monster down. I took a deep breath and fired a bright flare into the sky. Out comes the monster and I say "BRING IT ONNNN!!!!". The next thing I knew, I was squashed into a pulp. The End. Today is the end of mankind and the earth is officially owned by the Godzilla.

Anyway, back to reality. That is not the Godzilla I mean. I wouldn't be here to type this post if that's the thing I went to see. The monster I mean is the Nissan Skyline GT-R35 also known as the Godzilla.

Last week was the launch of the Nissan Skyline GT-R35 in Brunei and the day after that, the car is open for public showcase at Nissan/Boustead Showroom at Beribi/Kiarong. I've always wanted to see and touch this car in real life. One of my favourite cars out there, and also most car enthusiast's I would say. So I planned to visit the showroom with some friends, but in end, I end up going alone. So ya, it was a worthwhile visit nevertheless. I managed to grab some photos but it was difficult with some many people around. Oh well, a public showcase is meant to be that way. Check out that ride!

Too bad Boustead do not allow the public to sit inside the car. We can just view the car from the outside. No checking out what is inside the car nor what is under the hood.

But also present were the previous generation of the R35, which are the R32 and R33. I heard that the R32 and R33 here were owned by somebody and they are only for car show. But anyway, these two rides are sweet ass.

After the car show, I went to find Jes, Andy and Shin then we decided to hangout at De Tymz Cafe, Kiulap. I was browsing through the menu and I decided to order this...

What is the first thing in your mind when you see this? LOL. Anyway, this is the "Limone Beer" I ordered. It really does look like a beer, just less bubble. It is lemon flavoured and I would say it doesn't taste anything like a beer, more like a shandy.

This is the first time I've been to this place, or worse, it is the first time I've heard of this place. (I know, very sakai right?) From the name, I actually thought it is a huge Villa with big swimming pool where people can rent it, order some buffet catering and host their party there. But no, none of what I thought were true. It turned out to be a restaurant, an Italian Cuisine Ristorante.

Anyway, the plan was to belated-ly celebrate HuiFang's birthday (Thanks HuiFang!) and also to have a reunion dinner with the 3 ladies, Tyng, YingSing and ChiouYen, who just came back from the UK. Ok, less words, more photos, check it out!

Finally! The days after my exam and freedom is in the air. So one night, Jes decided to go to Tandoor for dinner. It was actually planned a while ago, but due to me having my exam week, so it was cancelled.

Yong's Birthday Surprise!

For Yong's 22nd Birthday, we decided to give him a surprise celebration. We started the planning a week before the actual day and work behind the scene without him knowing. In the end, we all decided to held it at Taurean Cafe, The Arch. Earlier that day, Jes went to buy the cake at FunBread, place it at Taurean Cafe and requested the staff to do a birthday suprise later that night. Because of school and work, Andy and I do not have the time to meet up with Jes and sign the birthday card. We can only meet up at Taurean Cafe that night to sign the card. Without the birthday boy's knowing, Andy and I take turns to go to the toilet and sign the card. *LOL*

It's the day of the year again, when we get a little bit wiser. It's the day of the year again, when greater responsibility comes stacking up our hands. It's the day of the year again, when the burden on our shoulders gets heavier. Yes, that's right! It's the day when 21 karat turns 22 karat!

Oh nevermind if you do not get it, it's my birthday! This is a very outdated post, but yeah, who cares. On my birthday itself, there's no big bash nor big celebration, just a small steamboat dinner with family and then blowing some candles.

Life in campus, a few weeks back...

For the last few months, I've been enjoying life, ENJOY, man, ENNJOOYYY!! I went on a vacation to Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, London, Thailand, Australia, Beijing, Manchester, Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Tokyo, Las Vegas and Seoul! WOW, around the world, man!! When in homeland, everyday I'll go to Excapade eat sushi and every evening go cruise around and party all night! SUDDENLY...I hear a bell ring. I panicked and look around but doesn't know where the sound come from. The sound is getting louder and louder to my ear. In front of me, I can see white light coming from the distance. I ran away as fast as I could but the white light is reaching closer and closer to me. Without realizing it, I am already fully engulfed by the white light. I thought in my mind... "Is this the end of me?", "Has my time ran out?", "There are still a lot of things that I haven't do!". The thought keep running over and over again in my head as I fade into the white light of eternity.........

GOOD MORNING! OHAYO GOZAIMAS! That was just my alarm clock ringing away and destroyed my sweet dream. Oh man! In contrast to the dream, for the last few months, I've actually been working my ass off! Finishing up assignments before the deadline and preparing for tests. Sometimes we even stay in campus until midnight to finish up the piled up work. Below are some photos to share...

There are many unexplained possibilities to the photo above. Some say it is the effect of lighting, some say it is someone's shadow, some say it is one of those supernatural encounter. So what is it, people?! The photo still remain as a mystery. Strange things do happen in the campus at night.

The next day after Zhang & Wendy's birthday party, me and my family went to Limbang because my mom has something to settle there. Started the trip around morning and came back around the evening. There was nothing much to do, so we just go to the hawker stalls (near the Ngiukee mall) to find something to eat.

Last, last week, I went to Zhang's house to celebrate him & Wendy's birthday. They decided to celebrate it together since their birthday is so close. The food was great, too bad i didn't manage to take photos of them. I don't have much to say here and will just let the pictures do the talking but overall we had a great time!

One saturday night, after having dinner at Yit Sum (this time, it's Andy who was absent) and after hanging out at The Arch Taurean, me and S.K.Y. don't know where to go so we decided to try out the Coffee Bean at Bandar. It was around 12 A.M. already and we thought that it will close anytime soon. But we found they close at 1 A.M. so we quickly order our drinks and beverages without wasting any seconds. We were the only customers there so it kinda feels like we own the place. *LOL* It was a cozy, cool, peaceful and quiet place at that time so it was really great experience.

We were the only customers there. It was peaceful and quiet, along with the smell of coffee bean and powder. A really relaxing atmosphere.

It was a cold night too, as shown on the glass wall.

One quiet weekend, there's no cooking at home so me and Andy decided to dine outside. After having a hard time figuring out where to dine, we decided to go to Icebar, Kiulap Plaza. S.K.Y. couldn't make it because he was having steamboat at George's house as well. Oh well, what to do. But definitely something is missing without S.K.Y.'s presence.*LOL*
